Dr. Raul Llanos graduated from the University del Valle in Colombia, South America in 1971.

He worked for the Colombian government in rural regions of the country for one year as a general practitioner. In his second Rotating Internship, he went to the Lutheran Medical Center in Cleveland, Ohio which is affiliated with the Cleveland Metropolitan General Hospital.

He later completed his residency in Obstetrics and Gynecology through the Tulane Medical School at Charity Hospital in New Orleans.

Following a successful completion of his residency he became an instructor at the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology at the Tulane Medical School and since has been in private practice.

He was the Founding President of the Hispanic American Medical Society of Louisiana(HAMAL) (1989-91) and President of the New Orleans Society of Clinical Hypnosis (1988-89).

Currently he is Clinical Assistant Professor at the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology at Tulane Medical School.

Dr. Llanos has written multiple articles for local and national journals, magazines and newspapers and has been a guest on various local radio shows and national television programs.

Since his early childhood, Dr. Llanos has always wanted to be a physician and has had a passion in uncovering higher stages of well being. He has had a great interest in the deeper meaning of: who are we? Where are we coming from? And where are we going to be?

As always, he wanted to improve the quality of health on his patients, He offers traditional as well as integrative healing techniques to treat his patients.
